Keith Fritschen | Junior 5'11" | 155 3b R/R
Keith moves up from our Junior Varsity and will battle for third base. He hit
.365 for the JV and led the team in triples. Keith is an outstanding athlete
and one of the first things you notice about him is his speed. He is one of the
fastest players in the program and has been clocked in a 6.6 60. His work ethic
is very good and he will be a young man that is going to be hard to keep out of
the line-up. His parents are Kirk and Veronica. |

#2
Jack Bolger | Senior 6'00" 200 | P/OF R/R
Jack is one of our seven football/baseball athletes that we have on the
varsity. Jack was injured at the start of last season and it took him couple of
months to completely heal. But he still pitched in 47 innings and had a 4-3
season record in 15 games. He is a three-year returning letterman and his
experience and leadership will be critical to our success. His parents are Barr
and Christa. |

#3
Blair Beck | Junior 6'00" 170 | OF/P R/R
Blair is another of our baseball/football players. He is the punter as well as
plays wide receiver for us. Blair made quite a splash in his varsity debut as
he came up in the playoffs from the Junior Varsity and went 5 for 7 in the Bi
District series vs. El Paso Franklin. He hit .431 on the JV Purple team and led
the team in hits (31), runs scored (27), and was second on the team in rbis
with 26. Blair is one of our guys who can play multiple positions, as he is an
infielder as well as one of our outfielders. He will also be one of our
pitchers. His parents are Brent and Lisa. |

Cole Swanner | Senior 6'00" 175 | OF R/R
Talk about a serious injury!! Cole dislocated his hip, twice, last season
before having season ending surgery. He is completely healed up now and is
jumping at the bit to get in there. He will play outfield where he runs well
and has a very good arm. His twin brother, Clark, is also on the team. So,
you're not seeing double if you see two of him on the field. His parents are
Dan and Tina. |

#5
Erick Callier | Junior 5'10" 155 | OF/SS L/R
Erick also plays cornerback for the varsity football team. He was selected to
the 2009 Sophomore Sunbelt Team Texas that competes in Oklahoma against
sophomores from other states. He is one of those athletes that can flat out
run! He is extremely fast and will play in the outfield as well as see some
time in the infield. He will be one of the catalysts for our offense, as he hit
.352 with seven doubles and 11 rbis last season. He is a player that is fun to
watch as he plays the game the correct way. His parents are Bob and Delma.

#6
Cameron Howard | Senior 5'5" 140 | P/OF L/L
Cameron is our relief specialist. He brings us some desperately needed
left-handed help on the mound as he is one of only two lefties on the varsity.
He will be used in rolls where he can come in and do what he does best -- throw
off speed junk! He has a nasty knuckleball, above average curve and has added a
submarine and sidearm fastball to his repertoire. His parents are Neil and
Maria. |

 |
#7
Frank Rodriguez | Senior 5'8" 160| P/SS R/R
Frankie is one of the JV kids that we are going to be depending on a lot. He
was 5-0 on the JV Purple team in 2009 and will be looked on to fill a void on
the mound. He is tenacious and is a real competitor when out there. He throws
strikes, has a good knowledge of how to pitch and what he needs to do. He will
also play some shortstop and second base. His parents are Frank and Rosa.

#8
Michael Cristiani | Junior 5'10" 165 | P/1B L/L
Michael is also on the football team where he plays receiver. Michael is the
second of our left handed pitchers and he actually got some innings in last
season with the varsity when he pitched in the Round Rock Tournament vs.
Belton. He is another outstanding competitor who refuses to lose. He was 3-1
with a 1.53 era on the Junior Varsity in 2009. He is also a very good hitter
(.389 on JV Purple) and he runs quite well. He will see time at first base as
well as in the outfield. His parents are Paul and Dana. |

#9
Luke Slentz | Senior 5'11" 150 | SS/P B/R
Luke is one of our two, two-year returning lettermen/starter. He has started at
shortstop since the middle of his sophomore year. After a slow start, he hit
.358 in district in 2009 to finish very strong. He is solid at shortstop with a
good glove and arm. He and Matt Reyes will be a very good duo up the middle. He
will even see some time on the mound. His parents are Scott and Donelle.

Matt Reyes | Junior 5'10" 145 | 2b R/R
In basketball, they have what they call a gym rat. Well, Matt is a field rat!
He is also a member of our football team as a receiver and kicker. He was the
2009 2-5A Newcomer of the Year in 2009. He was also selected to the THSBCA
All-State Team, as well as the Sophomore Sunbelt Team Texas. He had a
phenomenal season in 2009 hitting .484 in district as well as .421 for the
season. He also is in the MHS Baseball record books for most doubles in a
season (tied for 7th with 13), most stolen bases (tied for 10th with 12) and
just missed getting in the top ten with batting average and most base hits.
What a season! The question is, what can he do for an encore? The answer is to
just do what he does -- play hard, compete hard and he will be just fine. His
parents are Max and Gina. |

Coby Tomlin | Junior 5'11" 185 | P/OF R/R
Coby is another one of Junior Varsity pitchers who pitched in the Round Rock
tournament where he got his first ever varsity win! Coby also was 3-0 on the JV
with a 1.25 era as well as hitting .490. He will be one of front line pitchers
and hopefully he can duplicate his success on the varsity. He is also an
outfielder where he will compete for a starting spot against several other
outfielders. His parents are Nick Tomlin and Joely Fox. |

#12
Shane Sawyer | Junior 5'11" 165 | P/3B/1B R/R
Shane is a returning letterman and part-time starter at first base where he hit
.293 in 2009. He will be expected to pitch more this season as he only logged
11 innings on the varsity and recorded a 1-1 record with an era of 3.10. He is
another one of those guys who refuses to go home and want to hit or take ground
balls until dark! That's a great problem to have. He will be playing third
base, pitching and may see some time at first base, too. His parents are Wayne
and Deanna. |

#13
Isaac Olivas | Senior 5'11" 155 | OF R/R
Isaac is our defensive specialist. Man can he "D" it up! If you ever
came out to one of our practices, you would surely see one of our outfielders
diving for a ball or making an incredible catch. Odds are it's Isaac. His work
ethic and attitude are one that I wish I could instill in all the players. He
is always willing to do more than asked. He will challenge for a spot in the
outfield and the winner in that particular spot being the one that hits it the
best. But when it comes down to nitty gritty late in the game, expect Isaac to
be on the field. His parents are Rey and Lupe. |

#15
Jake Holifield | Junior 6'02" 175 | P/OF R/R
Jake is another of our football/baseball kids. He is the QB for our Bulldog
Football team. He pitched for the JV Purple in 2009 and had a 3-1 record with a
2.58 era. With pitching being one of our main issues, Jake will get lots of
chances for us. He is blessed with a great arm and needs to become a little
better with his control. If he can do that, he will be a force and a much
needed addition to our pitching staff. When he is not pitching, he will play
right field. His parents are Steve and Lisa. |

#17
Travis Sims | Sophomore 6'00" 165 | C/P R /R
Travis is the real deal behind the plate! His first base hit as a freshman on
the varsity was very memorable. Playing his first game ever on the varsity,
Travis his a grand slam at Dell Diamond in the Round Rock tournament against
Austin High School! He does a great job behind the plate, has an outstanding
arm and has good leadership skills for a youngster. With more time and
development, he could become one of the best catchers to come through here in
sometime. He hit .255 with 11 rbis for the 2009 season. His parents are Randy
and Amy. |

|
 |
#18
Clark Swanner | Senior 6'01" 175 | P/OF R/R
Clark is another of our nine returning letter winners from last season. He hit
.333 for the varsity in a part-time roll on the varsity last season and is a
young man with an incredible amount of power. When he runs into one, you can
rest assure that it's going a long way. He will play right field and with his
arm strength will spend some time pitching, too. His parents are Dan and Tina.

#22
Nate Vasquez | Senior 5'11" 185 | 1B R/R
Nate is moving up from the Junior Varsity where he hit a fantastic .438 with 21
rbis in 2009. He is a young man that has been in the baseball class for three
years and has grown immensely as both a young man and baseball player. He will
bring leadership and calmness to the team. He works hard and has a fantastic
attitude. He will play first base for the 2010 Bulldog team. His parents are
Henry and Lisa. |

#28
Dylan Henry | Senior 6'00" 225 | C/DH L/R
Dylan was on the JV Purple team last season where he led the team in batting
average (.492), runs batted in (31), doubles (7) and home runs (2) as well as
second on the team in hits (29). He can really swing it and will spend most of
his time as our designated hitter. He will also be our back up catcher. Dylan
is very athletic as he runs well for a big guy. His parents are Chuck and
Laurel. |
